Just got a new set of JWT air filters for my dual intake setup. I have seen others use the 350Z HR filters as they are shorter than the standard filter. Thought I would give them a try but now I'm not so sure. The internal venturi "cone" extends past the base of the velocity stack slightly. This appears to work on the HR motors as the MAF sensors that engine uses are set back a ways from the air filter. On the Z32 MAF the tip of the air filter cone interferes with the MAF screen. What is everyone doing to remedy this? Concept sells this kit specifically for the Z32 and claims it is a non issues. I have also seen many others running this setup and never heard about this issue. Should I swap to the non HR filters?
